The day following the video leak, Minahil Malik released a statement claiming that the video was both fake and morphed. She informed the public that she had filed a formal complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and urged her fans to report the viral video.

“These videos are completely fake. I have already filed a complaint with the FIA against the person responsible, “tiktok video download” and they will be arrested soon,” she stated in a video shared on TikTok. “My family and I are going through severe depression because of this,” she continued.
